Biography
Based in Appleton, Wisconsin, Sarah E. Wheeler collaborates in classical vocal and instrumental repertoire, musical theatre, and choral music. Sarah has played for musicals with The Next Chapter Actors, Hysterical Productions, Neenah Riverside Players, UW-Oshkosh at Fox Cities, Lawrence University, Kimberly High School, and Appleton East High School. She has also collaborated with choral groups including Oshkosh Chamber Singers, UW-Oshkosh Chamber Choir, Lawrence University Viking Chorale, Oshkosh Youth Choir, Badger State Girl Choir, Appleton Boy Choir, and Kimberly and Appleton East high schools. Currently, Sarah is a staff pianist at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music, accompanies Kimberly High School choirs and vocalists, and freelances in the Appleton area.
Previously based in New York City, Sarah was Principal Vocal Coach and an Assistant Music Director with New York Opera Exchange, on the music faculty as a piano accompanist at Adelphi University, and played for various voice teachers in Manhattan, including at Barnard College. She also played with musical groups including the New Jersey State Opera and Village Light Opera Group.

Sarah has held staff positions at Boston Ballet School, Interlochen Arts Camp, and College Light Opera Company. She has worked as a pianist with regional theaters including Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre and The Little Theatre On The Square. She has also performed in many student vocal and instrumental recitals at Lawrence and Boston Universities.

Originally from Waterville, Maine, Sarah received her Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from Boston University in 2010.
She received her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Lawrence University in 2007.
